Has anyone figured out a way to take naps without getting bloated? And what is the deal with getting bloated from a nap- why does that happen? I took an hour nap Sat and was in a lot of pain temporarily afterward!

Hi LM! Did you eat before the nap? Eating up to 2 hours before lying down can casue bloating, acid reflux, and for me gas as well!

That's the only thing I can think of...let me know if you figure it out! *hugs*

I don't know-I eat all the time! But I can never nap without bloating afterward. usually tea takes care of it and it did but I almost couldn't leave on time!

That's good to know. I guess it is all a mystery. Since afternoon naps make me super bloated but morning naps do not.

I have the same problem... afternoon naps can be really bad for me too! Unfortunately I don't really have any advice... it seems like lying down after eating is just a bad idea, I think just leaving some time for digestion, having some tea, and then taking the nap helps it out a bit. Good luck.
