Irritable Bowel Syndrome Worse During Periods

Does that affect moods too? I noticed that during periods I become more sensitive to physical pains but also become more emotionally sensitive too. Things that wouldn't usually get to me do. Do you think IBS affects that to?

Yes! Definitely IBS during your period affects your emotions. I find during my period I have more bm's. On a usual day my IBS irritates me, sooo... with PMS, period and running to the bathroom alot I get irritated. Its because it is so exhausting. I just ask my family to have a little compassion, and tell them it will soon pass. Actually I am telling myself it will soon pass
