Avocadoes are one of my staples! I was born in California, and lived there until four years ago, so I grew up eating them. I never have any problem with them at all. I usually eat them slightly mashed with a tiny bit of "Spike" seasoning mixed in, on white bread(toasted), or on bread as a spread with some shaved turkey breast and grated soy cheese. Also delicious with rice crackers, eggs (eggbeaters of course), or just sliced up alongside rice and chicken breast. I have no IBS problems at all with them. And I have been losing weight while eating them also, so that's something to think about also. People worry that they are too high in fat, but it is the good kind of fat, and if you aren't eating much other fat, (which I'm not) then you definitely need it besides.

I say give 'em a try, they are my favorite taste besides. Very satisfying, especially when I have had to eliminate and/or severely limit so many other foods that I have loved, but, alas, my gut does NOT love....

Meat for sure. Guaranteed to throw me for a loop. After that...dairy, occaisionally, but I haven't had any for over a month now, so hard to gauge at this point.

Hey Ruchie, it has to be Chocolate, and that maks me sick, because I think of chocolate as my most fav thing in the world.

Dairy kills me too, I love cheese, and I am having a very hard time getting away from both of them. but, I should be happy to know that these two things cause me to have explosive embarassing gas, and I can stay away from problem causing mood. not happy, not one bit!!!

Red Meat Hands down! I can not eat it with out pain! Veggies being second. Dairy I can handle ok, moderation is the key with dairy for me.

Hugs Ruchie!!!

Artificial sweetner, esp sorbitol, red meat (the next day i have problems), coffee (but I use it to get a bm if I am really desperate!), cabbage (had bloating for 3 days afterwards). not sure if dairy really is but I dont ever eat it just to be safe, i am afraid of it now.
