Sorry, not overly IBS related, but for those following my IVF journey

Hi Guys,
Just to let you know I had my two frozen (now thawed of course) embryos transferred in today.
They survived the thawing process well so things are looking good.
As far as the IBS goes, the hypno tapes have really helped me to cope. Though I still suffer discomfort most days I don't have the horrid attacks that I'm sure I would be having due to the stress of the IVF. The tapes have hepled me to be much more positive and calm about dealing with both IBS and IVF. I am confident of feeling even better once I come off the IVF drugs. I am having to take HRT to help my uterus remain "inviting" to our embryos and the IBS definately doesn't like that!
All in all, things aren't going too badly right now and I just have to hope and pray that we have some good news in a couple of weeks time.

We haven't "met" yet, so, Hi, I am Johanna... 
I wish only good things for you on your courageous journey with IVF. I will keep you in my prayers that those little embryos "take hold" and everything is successful. Glad to hear hypno is helpful in many aspects of life, can't afford them yet, but I hope to order them soon.
I will keep you in my thoughts!

Praying for you Kerrie as I post this. Those hormones making your IBS worse is lousy, I know, but I also know you feel it's worth it to have the hormonal situation in your uterus be inviting. Some of us with IBS have diarrhea problems all through a pregnancy, but, you have to go urinate so much anyway that it's just one more thing you have to do while you're in there. I am praying those babies will find a good anchor in your hospitable uterus and grow to maturity. May the Lord bless you richly!
