I had a fissure/fistula that would repeatedly get infected so I finally had surgery. Never had another problem. They are extremely painful, I feel so bad for you. Did your doctor give you any instructions for alleviating the pain? For now, try sitz baths and keep yourself very regular. Don't eat anything spicy or peppery. Hope you can get some relief soon.
