I am so tired of the mucous. It comes when I am stressed, it comes when I am tired..hungry...you name it. I guess it would be a good idea for me to keep a food diary, so I can find out the food culprit.

Thank you all for being so helpful and nice.

Mucus in the throat? Sinuses? Elsewhere?

I have gross mucous every day! yucky, messy and just gross . Do you think food really has some sort of connection to the mucous? I wasn't aware of a connection between food and mucous.

I'm having a hard enough time finding a culprit for cramps, gas, and bloat let alone trying to find one for the mucous!

Gayla,

I think a food diary would be an excellent idea! Good for you and good luck tracking down the culprit.

...are you on a SFS? I found that was what made the m,ost difference with me. If I get lax at taking my Acacia, the mucous comes back.

I second this, I take Metamucile (only because I cant FIND anything else here) and my mucos has almost completely dissapeared and only returns when I slack on taking my SFS.

I walk a very fine line between C and D. How do I explain that one. I can't, some days it is very hard, other days it is so smooth (yuck). And, I have terrible intestine and rectal muscle issues, that if I am not careful I can have an accident. Now, I am worried that if I take too much SFS, or not enough SFS. I do realize that is a trial and error thing, and I have suffered through many trials and errors. But, I am willing to try it one more time. I just need help in figuring out how much to start with and how often to increase the dosage.

I know this has been explained by so many people, so many times, but please be patient with me. I just need a little more help.

One of the few SFS that has been easier tolerated is Konsyl. I happen to have a new container of it, so I guess I will try it.

Thank you, gayla

From everything you're saying, I really think you need a SFS! All those symptoms are the ones that SFSs sorted out for me! I take Acacia btw and love it - I'm A too.
