I actually have the hiccoups right now. My boss is laughing at me because they're kind of loud.

The pain in the butt is that whenever I get the hiccoups, I'll usually have them 2-3 more times the same day. Just another annoyance.

LOL... I have them right now too.... I think I ate my lunch too fast.... working at my desk doing year end crap with the other bookkeeper (who's job I took over almost 5 years ago)... ouch...there was another one!!

Oh my gosh, Cara, I get hiccups frequently from eating ANY kind of bread. I've always wondered why. Nice to know that I'm not the only one.

I can't believe it!! I can't wait to tell my husband - he thinks I'm CRAZY for getting hiccups when I eat bread. That is too funny!

Beth, don't worry, I get them occassionally too, and so does one of my friends who doesn't have IBS but has low blood sugar so when she gets hungry she hiccups! Or sometimes she gets them after she eats. I understand how you feel, when even a small symptom can make you nervous that you are getting some horrible disease...if it doesn't go away after a day or so, then call your doc. Hope you start feeling better and the hiccups go away!!
