In the past several months I have made great strides with my ibs. What I primarily experience now is "incomplete evacuation".. that is.. I have a pretty normal bowel movement (hooray!) but then am left with the feeling that I'm just not done. There is usually stool about an inch into my anus which will just not move unless I strain. If I do strain, part of it comes out, but it just never seems done, and so the cycle goes on.
I'm really not sure what to do about this. I know I shouldn't strain, but its hard to just get up from the toilet and leave feeling like I'm not done. I also don't want to strain, I'd rather retrain my bowel somehow to expel what is left on its own!
Any suggestions?? ken

A good SFS regime will really help this. It's one of those annoying symptoms that feels like it'll never stop, but stick with the SFS and it will! Promise.
