Hi Everyone, New to this site and this board. I have bought Heathers books and am in the process of reading them. Finished the diet book and having a hard time thinking of things to eat since I am not much of a cook. I get the hint, lots of carbs. Does anyone else have any issues with a the pasta and breads, don't want to gain any weight....well, if it made my tummy better I might.

Hi Adriane Welcome to the boards. A lot of us here, myself included LOST weight on the diet and have kept it off. While it sounds carb heavy you are sticking to low fat choices so one balances out the other! For me cutting out cheese, chocolate and fizzy drinks madde the weight fall off...I lost 20lbs in 8 weeks in July and haven't put it back on.

Thanks for that. I was thinking that would be the case, especially since I know overeating makes me feel worse and eating too many carbs is really the problem. Im not much of a cook, do you find lots of options of things to eat that are quick and easy?

I to am fairly new to this diet. I have lost weight on it fast. I watch the fat closely and the carbs don't seem to add up. Welcome to the board. I'm glad you found us.
Love,
Jamie

Thanks, I am glad that I found it too! Guess I will just wait and see what it does for me, if it helps my tummy then it will be worth it.
