Probiotics working for me--anyone tried this one?

Just started Probiotics brand called "All Flora" purchased at Whole Foods Market, a health food store. I am taking only 1/4 tsp.once daily initially to see how it works and will add more until I get to 1/2 tsp. once daily. It has worked so fabulously well for my IBS-D that I wanted to share the info with you. It comes as a capsule or fine powder that you can add to water or juice--no grit at all.
I am as close to "normal" as I can be, no pain, no spasms..I have to take it consistently because if I don't, the D comes back eventually as the good bacteria levels go down in the intestines..At $25 a bottle it may be a bit expensive, but for me it is well worth the money as I feel so very good...hope you try it and let me know how it works for you--Good luck--and Happy Holidays to everyone!!

Glad to hear you found something that actually is working!
Did the people at whole foods give you any info on the product such as if it is only for IBS-D? Or do you know if it can help with IBS-C ? Maybe if it helps so well for D, it might actually make C worse.
I am currently searching for a probiotic and would try this one if it could help a C person as well. Any info? Thanks
Are you taking the powdered form, I assume? Do you know what company makes it?

As far as I'm aware, probiotics are good for all IBSers, not matter what the brand.

The probiotics "All-Flora" is made by New Chapter--the bottle states: " Whole Food Probiotics for Optimal Digestive and Immune System Functioning. It contains live cells and must be refrigerated. The one I take is a powder- but it also comes in a tablet. Contains soy cultured media (which would not work if you are soy-sensitive), beet fiber
( so I started on half dosage to see if I would have any gas with the fiber). The website if you want to check it out is: www.newchapter.info click on "Product" and select "Search" type in
