I'm going to a Chinese restaurant with my family this Sunday and I was looking at the place's take-out menu to see if there'll be anything I can eat. I figured that the seafood stuff was too expensive (it mostly involves lobster) and that chicken is probably the way to go. Several of the chicken items are "sauteed." My mom explained to me that sauteeing usually involves a little bit of oil in a pan over a high heat. Because this is a restaurant, and because they are cooking a lot of food at the same time, would they use more oil on this than a single person would if he/she were sauteeing their own food?
Is sauteed food safe? If I'm still worried, I'll just eat the rice (restaurant rice is safe, isn't it? They don't put anything in it that would bother my system do they?).
I used to love going to restaurants, now I absolutely hate it.
Thanks.

We usually go to Panda Express. I'll order the white rice with chicken and mushrooms.. Sometimes I will get the orange chicken. I do fine with these two meals.
