Hello everyone. My fiance and I have been unsuccessful at finding soy cheese in any of our grocery stores here up in South Yorkshire. I am wondering if you have been able to find any in your area? Would I have a better chance asking at a health food store? Do you have any possible ideas for us? I am only here for a few more days, but after we get married, I am moving over here. It would be nice to be able to get some when I move over here.

Thank you in advance for any hints or advice!

Sheri

Hiya

In my experience large supermarkets do sell soya cheese but smaller branches don't. There is a large Sainsbury's in my town and they usually have one or two types available. Also if you don't see it try asking for it - sometimes they put things in the strangest of places!

You tend to get much better choice in a health food shop so I would recommend that. I know it's a hassle to make an extra trip but you don't have to go too often if the products have a good shelf life as you can stock up well. Other than that check if the manufacturers sell online (e.g. http://www.redwoodfoods.co.uk )

HTH,

Thank you for your helpful hints and advice. I also plan on having a look at the website.

How are you doing by the way?

Hi Sheri,
Hope you are enjoying your stay here in the UK. A health food store like Holland and Barrett might be your best bet, or perhaps ordering from supermarkets online - I'm sure they would carry a more consistent range than that in-store
