Well everyone. I was invited to a birhtday party Saturday. It was for my brother-in-law's sister's daughter. She is like a neice to me. I was a little apprehensive, becasue I am extremely shy. I always have been and IBS has made me even more quiet in social situations. She promised me I could use their toilet (her husband has Crohn's & IBS) if I needed to. Plus she has 2.5 bathrooms. When I got there, my blood sugar had dropped and I had to eat something quick. She had rolls for sandwiches so I munched one. Then I made myself a Turkey breast sandwich on the French Bread Rolls. I made it through the party and the drive home with no problems!!!! I need to email her and thank her for helping my self confidence. I just wanted to share. I normally try to back out of these events.
