I just ordered the cookbook, but am trying to think of some good meals that would target "C" and also that my hubby would like too. He also wants to be able to cook IBS meals for me. Just wondering if anyone out there has some good ideas or favorites that would work good. Also, the last few days I have stirred in Acacia with one meal per day, something moist or warm...is that a good idea?

I've been trying recipes from Heather's cookbook. I don't think there's a magic combo for those of us with IBS-C. I've noticed that I need more insolubles mixed into my diet.

There's some delicious recipes in her book! My dh & I really like the orange-glazed chicken. We also liked the glazed scallops. Lots of yummy recipes.

I just wanted to add that I agree - we IBS-Cers need more insolubles (at least I do!). How about grilled chicken with cooked veggies? You could make a ratatouille (your hubby might / will probably like that as well). Good luck!
