Hi everybody - Well, the store's up and running (and so am I!!!). Here are a couple of pictures of what the store looks like, although it's always changing because a lot of the same people come in and they get used to seeing stuff in the same place all the time, so I change it around. It's a never ending battle, but somebody's got to do it!!
Paint Lady and 4 of her friends are driving up to the store this Saturday and I'm so excited about meeting somebody from the IBS boards, I just can't wait. She lives in Columbia, CA which is about 50 minutes via car from here, right outside of Sonora (not Sonoma, which is in the wine country).
Here's my "funny" story for the day...I was shopping in Sonora today for food because I haven't been for almost 3 weeks because of opening the store and I was at Wal-Mart loading up the van. I then drove up to the drugstore and couldn't find my wallet. To make a long story short, I spent an hour opening and looking in all the bags from WM--and there were a lot!-- and finally went back to the parking lot and found it still in the cart where I left it. Do you know how lucky I was to find it???? It had my driver's license, atm/credit cards (no cash) and checks in it. I got so upset after I found it, I sat in the car and cried for 5 minutes until I felt better. Then I ate 6 pieces of chocolate--ugghh! Luckily, I don't have any bad ibs effects from it--yet! Hopefully, I'll be okay.
Since watching what I eat IBS-wise, when I DO go off the wagon, it's no big deal any more. Whew, how lucky do you call that??? LOL!

Preggy woman is OK and so is babe. Constantly getting kicked in the ribs. Also likes to stick a limb into my side between hip bone and lower ribs. Yay. For the most part, feeling good though. IBS is under control and I am able to "cheat" quite a bit.

Wow Sharon your store looks great! The stuff looks great too, to bad you are so far away I'd stop by myself. If you were 50 minutes away via car from me, you'd on the other side of town. LOL It's funny when you are from different areas some places 50 minutes is FAR and others (like Houston) it's a part of life.
Hope to see you from time to time. Glad you found your wallet. Sometimes I think somebody's watching out for us.

Your store looks so wonderful. I would love to own my own craft store. Your store looks so wonderful. I am sure you will do wonderful because you are such a caring and outgoing person.
Congratulations again! You will be a success. These are your first pictures and they look like you have been decorating a store forever!
Way to go!
P.S. We miss you so much here! Any chance of you making time for us again once your schedule slows down again?
