I'm IBS-C & have a banana every morning in my soy milk smoothie. They've never bothered me. In fact, I think they're considered soluble fiber so that's good for us

Unfortuanately, I think it depends on the individual. Sorry! Bananas constipate me, which is a bummer, because I love them. The theory is... the riper the banana, the better for C. The less ripe, the better for D. Try eating a really ripe one, if it helps you go, great!

absolutely constipate me...I love them...really settle my tummy...but need to watch my intake when the C is rife!

It's ok, and totally understandable. I *can* eat them, in that they don't make me C or D, but they sometimes give me heartburn, and I really don't like the taste of them much, so I don't eat them... just in banana bread, which I love.

I'm feeling a little better... no more sore throat, but now I'm coughing. How are you doing on the lexapro?
