I tried to refill my prescription today for Miralax, and my insurance company would only approve the generic for Miralax. Do you take generic or name brand? Do you think the generic will do the same? Thanks!

I've used the generic & I think it works the same. Maybe Michele has another perspective.

Hmm, didn't even know there WAS a generic!! I have very good insurance, luckily, and I guess since I've been on the name brand stuff so long the insurance company hasn't made me change. I'm sure it would work just as well though. I do take other medications in generic forms and have never had a problem. Just curious, what is it called?
