Hi,
either oatmeal, corn or rice based cereals made with soy milk are usually the safest choices.

Oatmeal has become my new favorite breakfast, and I think it really helps my D. As for cold cereals, I have no problems with Special K, Corn Flakes, Cheerios, and Rice Krispies. (makes me feel like I'm 4, but hey, I can't do Bran Flakes!)

I like and handle rice chex and rice crispies. It breaks up the monotony of oatmeal.

Oatmeal, rice krispies, rice chex (any dry cereal made of rice). This is what I eat--got away from all that bran cereal (gave it to my neighbor--let her have the gas). There are probably others that Heather and HanSolo could suggest. Use the vanilla light soy, almond or rice milk. Good luck.

Thanks what about sugar cereals such as Trix, honey nut cheerios and fruity pebbles? also what about wheat cereals such as wheaties and cinnamon toast crunch? So far I found that rice crispies cornflakes and cheerios agree with me

I would stay away from Cheerios and wheaties. Whole grains. Not sure about trix or pebbles. Read the labels. If they have a corn, rice base they are likely ok. If they say whole grain oats (although I'm not sure why but I can't tolerate Cheerios), whole grain wheat, avoid them like the plague. I miss shreddies SO much!!!!!

I have trouble with them but I don't know why - they are made with whole grain oats. Theoretically, they should be OK because oatmeal is OK. I'm confused.

Cocoa Puffs are made with corn, sugar, and cocoa (not chocolate) so I buy these when I'm desperate for a quick, chocolaty treat. They seem to agree with me ok.
