So does anyone have any idea if the caplets of citrucel are just as effective as the powder???

Michele,

I have taken both and believe they're equally effective. Sometimes, I use the powder just to have a safe, flavored "beverage"! To me, it tastes like Tang!

Blessings,
Kaybee C

Thanks, I bought both and am expermenting! I found the powder gets VERY think and yucky very quick. They are not joking when the directions say "drink promptly!" I stopped Zelnorm, miralax and fibercon. Sticking to Heathers diet and the citrucel seem to be working. YEAH!

They probably are. The powder is not that effective for me though and I've been taking it for several weeks.

Hey Michele- I am so glad you are feeling a little better! It is good to hear things are "moving" along. Maybe you might try Benefiber, there is absolutely no taste or texture even in water. Hope you continue to improve! artist

I have been taking Citracel and FiberChoice tablets (those big round tablets) and I know both of those products have Citric Acid in them, can that cause reflux? I can't think of anything else that might be causing it, I have been cutting out my tomatoes, and onions. My reflux has been bothering me lately and its all in my throat, not in my stomach. I have an Endoscopy on June 30th to make sure everything is allright.

Also, does Benefiber or FiberCon contain Citric Acid?

Thanks!
