Well, I'm a little weak and have a bad headache this morning, but I survived the colonscopy prep (more commonly known as "The Night of Running to the Bathroom.") Drinking the stuff was not nearly as bad as I expected (I put it in Sprite and sucked on lime wedges pretending it was a margarita); it was what came afterwards that surprised me. Whew! That was unlike any diarrhea I've ever had! I finally fell asleep about 2 a.m. and only woke up a couple of times after that. Now if I can just get the procedure over with. I am ready to have it behind me. (no pun intended.) Say a prayer for me at 1:30 EST. I know the test is necessary, but I'm really dreading it.
The prep always exhausted me too. The first one caught me totally off guard. The second one was less suprising. Good luck at your colonoscopy. I'll be thinking of you. When you are conscious enough to let us know the results please pop in.
