Good Morning all, I just wanted to say thank you for all the great advice on this board. I have been feeling very down lately with nausea. I went and bought some peppermint tea two days ago and have been drinking it. The tea really did work to reduce my nausea, thank you sooo much ! Colby

I love peppermint tea as well. It eases pain for me and helps me feel better each day. I also noticed that it cures headaches!:) Now, whenever I have a headache, I toss the tyenlol and guzzle the tea. Amen for peppermint tea

Have you tried fresh mint over hot water? It's really refreshing and soothing. A friend pick some herbs from her garden for me today.
I had just run out of the peppermint tea. Saw the fresh ones in the basket and gave it a try. Like it even more than the tea bag kind...

Just found this - though I'd share it with you
Hint-of-Mint Tea Add 3/4 to 1 teaspoon snipped fresh mint to the loose tea or 4 to 6 large mint leaves with the tea bags. Brew tea as directed. Remove mint before serving. If desired, garnish with fresh mint sprigs.

I have mint growing in my garden, my neighbor had given me some to plant about a year ago, keeps the bugs away . I think I will buy some fresh to grow in my patio planter and use that, thank you for the tip ! The tea I am drinking now is the Tummy mint with peppermint, fennel and chamo, it work great, looks like I'll have to start a herb garden !

I have mint in my garden as well...can I just pour hot water over the leaves to make tea?? Does it work that way? Sorry if I sound dumb....but I am a novice when it comes to fresh herbs!
Thanks!

As much as I can remember, my grandmother used to make fresh mint tea, but using just plain tea and letting it steep with the mint leaves, she would make about a gallon and then let it cool in the fridge. That was the iced tea type though. I may be wrong, but that is how I was gonna try it, being summer, iced tea sounds pretty refreshing
