I like the lighter the better, like a simple basil and tomato-lightly tossed with the pasta! maryh

I would like to know if having IBS causes a prolapsed colon since one is always chronically constipated. Could not having regular bm's cause the muscles to grow weak and prolapse?

I truly believe I brought this on myself via the trauma I put my body through in dealing with an eating disorder. I'd like to know if any studies or anything have been done on this.

Thanks!!

I need and want to start the IBS diet but I am afraid of how will I cook for my family and be able to eat properly too. I desperately need to lose about 20 pounds too and wanted to know if I should just go on the strict total elimination diet or what should I do?
