Thanks for the tips from everyone. I have heard a couple times my belly began to make the rumble, I now take 1/2 of a imodium. Benifiber at at night (1 tablespoon) and fiber choice in the am. (one)A nice bowl of honeycombs for breakfast (6:00am), about 20 minutes after the fiber pill. A snack of wheat thins around 9:00. A normal lunch and dinner and of course a snack midday. I have not taken the levison since the second day, after the colonscopy. I wish everyone the same good luck your tips have been. Oh my quiting my high stress job has helped too! Diariah free 9 days! Hemoriods are gone too! Drinking my water too. Derek

Derek, that's great news!!! We sure like the success stories so thanks for sharing yours!! Sounds like you're doing all the right things so keep up the good work!

(And let's hear it for quitting those high stress jobs!! I don't miss mine a bit! Nobody ever said on their deathbed, "I wish I'd spent more time at the office." Right?!)

Yesterday I was told I have to go see my manager Thursday, the colon begain to rumble within minutes and is still that way today. They are going to pressure me to return to management and I dread the confrontation. Hopefully tommorow will be uneventful and they will accept my decision. Thanks for the replies, Derek

Good luck. Do lots of deep breathing to relax your gut.

Well, I guess I got a little cocky and thought it was undercontrol. Had dinner 3 hours late, which kills me. Today I had a piece of cheese pizza on an empty stomach. OUCH did I hurt today. I guess You have to stay on the diet and keep after it. I am much better with no stress at work. Of course payday is a little stressful now. D

YES, you have to stick with the diet!! The diet isn't a cure, unfortunately - it's lifelong maintenance. But... well, we all do it from time to time. Watch out for that pizza, and hope you feel better!
