Heat can make IBS worse for some. For me it makes everything worse. Working out in ac is the way to go.

I know IBS is one of the most common disorders of digestive system producing a spectrum of symptoms. I am suffering from this disease. Is yoga is an excellent (and enjoyable!) way to manage Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)?

I've had IBS constipation for 5 years. My severe constipation is controlled by stool softeners and high fiber diet. I eat black beans and 100% all bran every single day. I am still constipated daily, but I can have a bowel movement without too much pain. All my attacks are brough on by stress, not food. I have attended yoga classes three times a week for the past 2 years. I never miss a class. Overall I fell good from the exercise but yoga has not improved my constipation. Would love to chat with IBS constipation sufferers.

You should stop yoga for some days if you feel pain.
