pumpkin ice cream?

i saw another thread by mags that uses pumpkin mixed into vanilla ice cream http://www.helpforibs.com/messageboards/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=recipe&Number=25206&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&vc=1 but its not done in the maker is it is just mixing it in. does anyone know of a safe recipe for actual pumpkin ice cream? i'm obsessed with finding a recipe but i know if i check elsewhere it won't be good for the belly.

Do you think it would work to add the pumpkin and the spices to the vanilla ice cream Kree posted? I would be interested in pumpkin ice cream too. If you try it let us know.

it might but i'd like to add it when i'm making it and not after by softening the vanilla and mixing it in. wonder if it can just be thrown in while its being made? haven't made ice cream yet so i am no expert.

anyone know?

im afraid that ice cream is a chemistry experiment and if i don't put the right amounts of things it wont work out.
