I eat Angel food cake ALL THE TIME but Im getting kind of bored with it. Its one of my safest foods though so I dont want to give it up - does anyone have any ideas on what I can put on it or with it? Ive seen the recipes for adding pie filling to the mix but I cant find anything without HFCS so I havent tried it.

Fruit is always good... if you're worried about the insolubles being a little harsh, you can always mash the fruit... you can also take the mashed fruit, add a little sugar and a tiny bit of water, and cook it a little bit (even the microwave works) to make it more like a sauce. Or try fruit babyfood - it sounds silly, but Gerber makes a tropical fruit that's really good on pancakes, I imagine it would be pretty tasty on angel food cake, too.
Here's some recipes from here recently that might be good too: Hot Fudge Sauce Raspberry Tofu Cream Topping Imus Ranch Very Berry Tofu Compote
I don't know if you ever make angel food cake from scratch, but this sounded good too: Easy Double Chocolate Angel Cake with Oranges

One of my mom's favorite desserts is angel food cake with a custard sauce and berries. We can't exactly have custard sauce, but we *can* have vanilla instant pudding made with soy milk! It doesn't get as firm as when you make it with milk anyway, so it would be pretty good as a "sauce" or "frosting" for plain cake, I would think.

I'm monopolizing this thread. But I was browsing over on the Kraft site, and I saw this idea: Tropical Breakfast Bruschetta. It basically calls for spreading toasted pound cake slices with cream cheese, and then topping them with a fruit mixture, but I think it would work with thicker toasted slices of angel food cake (and soy cream cheese), too.
