Any time I've had to do the "break the cycle" diet, part of my problem is nausea, so I mostly end up just putting salt and pepper on it. I've never been able to think of anything good either.
It's why I stick to rice. Rice is a little easier for me - I add chicken broth and make "soup", or just sprinkle it with some soy sauce. I'm just really not creative when I feel like crap, LOL!

Try a small amount of safe margerine maybe a teaspoon and some garlic salt.
A small amount of hoison sauce is probably fine too.
I'd stay away from tomato based things until you're stable.
Just a side note - I found I was too light headed and dizzy if I didn't get some fats in the diet. Just keep eating small amounts throughout the day and you should be okay.
Good luck, Leigh

Speaking of rice...yesterday I think you mentioned rice to me because I was feeling bloated. (or maybe it was someone else?) Anyway, I prepared some rice with water, chicken broth, lemon juice, basil, and lemon & herb spice. Twice now I've eaten it, and I've gotten the rumblies from it. What did I do wrong??? Was it the lemon juice?

It was someone else, but that's ok. It could be the lemon juice/spice. I know that when I was C recently, one of the things people recommended to me was hot lemon water first thing in the morning. Also, make sure the chicken broth didn't have MSG in it. That's all I can think of, although I do have days - usually PMS days, sigh - where even rice doesn't sit too good with me, so anything's possible!

Was the chicken broth organic? Most broths contain MSG, which has bothered me a LOT in the past.

Hi Kree: I've should have done this before, but I just looked at the ingredients. I used Wyler's chicken granules, and made the broth. Ummm, BIG MISTAKE!!!! It's loaded with a bunch of crap that I can't pronounce. Oops, won't do that again. Thankfully I went to the grocery store yesterday and bought some organic broth.

I was afraid of that. I don't know why they put all that junk in our food. I bet the organic stuff will work a lot better for you!!
