Turkey Cheeseburgers
These are VERY YUMMY. Even my dairy/red meat eating husband agrees!
1 lb ground turkey 1/4 Cup Worcestershire 1/4 Cup sliced mushrooms 1/2 Cup shredded soy mozerella 1/2 Cup shredded soy cheddar 1Tbsp onion salt 1 Tbsp garlic salt
Mix all ingredients together and form into patties. Grill about 10 minutes, or until no longer pink in the center, flipping frequently.

Sounds good! It is essential that the cheese be IN with the ground beef, etc?

I got the idea when my sister-in-law brought over mushroom & swiss patties that were already made at a grocery store. The cheese melts inside the burgers while they cook, adding flavor to the meat and holding the meat together. It seemed to make a difference, in my opinion. BeckyT

I'm not sure how you can have it where you get 1/2 cup of cheese, doesn't cheese come in slices, how does that go into a cup?

The recipe calls for shredded soy cheese, not sliced.

I'm sure rice cheese would be fine in this! I've found that it's pretty interchangeable with soy in most recipes.
