Hi Everyone
I make this spray 2 different ways to spray onto my stomach area when my IBS is acting up. Use this with yur regular treatment and you find it goes easier!!!
Mix together: 1. 25 ml carrier oil e.g. almond oil 2. 3-4 drops of chamomile oil , peppermint oil, and lavender oil. You rub this mixture into your abdomen in gentle circular movements, in a clock wise direction.
OR MY FAV
1.Use a small spray bottle and fill with distilled water. 2.add 3-4 drops each of chamomile oil and lavender oil. 3. then I put about 20 drops of peppermint oil or more into the mix. 4. I shake it well everytime I use it and I let it seep into my abdomen.
I also use this spray when my joints are hurting from standing to long at work or anything else that needs temp numbing or even just spraying it cool down.
Note: if you have a peppermint bath never have more than about 7 - 10 drops because it freezes you (though it's nice for a sun burn or on a hot night that you need to cool down).
OR Cheating
I have a aromatherapist who is cheap and mails her products all over the world. She makes a foot spray for when you feet get warm or need to be refreshed. She uses peppermint, rosemary, eucalyptus, and other ingredients. I then then take this mix she has and add again about 20-30 drops of peppermint. I carry it everywhere in my purse. Even my sister who did the Great Walk (about 64 km) used the spray to numb parts of her body and cool down and others saw her using it and borrowed it!!! If anyone wants the name of the aromatherapist that I use (for the last 3 years) let me know.
