I tried to make the Fat-free Brownies that were posted a little while back today and the mixture was really, really dry. I ended up adding 4 tsp water and they came out ok - just no-where near as good as ADBs!
What did I do wrong? The ingredients were just: apple sauce, sugar, vanilla, flour, cocoa and salt. Did I miss something?

Without no oil whatsoever I can't imagine they would be anything like the consistency or flavor of normal brownies. I don't think you did anything wrong, it's probably just the price you pay for having no fat.

Linz this is the one recipe I've used now, like forever..(I could live on them )....they're amazing, and never dry. If it needs a little more moisture I just add more of egg sub. I like using the egg whites only the best. They come out more chewy doing so. I'll ask Mags why she doesn't add in the index title that these are fat free. web page

I'm sure the recipe said no eggs. I purposely didn't buy any cos of that, so I couldn't add any egg whites when it was dry. Maybe I can make really tiny ADBs that are less WW points a go.
