Haven't tried this yet, but it sounds really good. If anyone tries it before I get to it, let me know how it comes out.
California Burger Adapted from 3/9/04 Woman's Day
1 lb ground chicken breast 2 egg whites 1/3 cup bread crumbs 4 hamburger buns 4 lettuce leaves 1/2 cup guacamole (I'd use Heather's Tex-Mex Guac from EFI) 5 oz alfalfa sprouts
1. Mix ground chicken breast, egg, and bread crumbs. Shape mixture into four 4-in. patties.
2. Heat grill or grill pan. Grill burgers 10 minutes, turning once, or until cooked through and an instant-read thermometer inserted from side to middles registers 160ºF.
3. Top each bun with a lettuce leaf, burger, some guacamole and then sprouts.
