I have a recipe for spring rolls, the things in them are pretty safe for me, they are just deep fried, I tried to bake a few, but they tasted like the eggroll wrappers, flourly, should I brush them with something?

You are talking about the rice spring roll that look paper until you soften them with warm water, right? My book says you can broil them.

Lightly coat a nonstick baking sheet with cooking spray. Place rolls on the sheet, leaving a little space between them. Lightly spray the rolls with cooking spray. Broil the rolls for 10 to 15 minutes until they are golden brown. Using a spatula, turn the rolls over and broil another 10 min.

If you get a chance, post the recipe. My daughters love the spring roll wrapers. They like to but the immitation crab in them.
