Just wondering what tasty Easter dinner recipes people are making for Sunday. I need to bring something to a friend's place and don't know what to bring. Also, what are you eating in lieu of ham?
Thanks all for your helpful tidbits!

I am going to be making Turkey...I believe I can still have Paska bread so I will be giving that a shot I'm going to be making a gluten free vegan carrot cake with non dairy orange frosting, and roasted garlic, mushroom and onion couscous side.

BUSTED It's a box cake lol SIMPLY ORGANIC brand vegan recipe as follows: *1 package of SIMPLY ORGANIC CARROT CAKE MIX *1/4 c. applesauce *1/2 c. water *1 c. grated carrots
If you get the cake mix it gives you directions on the box, make sure you follow the alternate vegan recipe though. I can't tolerate wheat, and since dairy is so hard to digest I usually always purchase low fat gluten-free vegan products.....I also buy about 90% of my food organic. This mix is really good they would probally have it in your grocery stores organic section.

Wow, that sounds delicious, so it's wheat free too?! I also can't tolerate wheat, I have been doing well with Spelt though, it is all a puzzle. I will have to check out this Simply Organic brand, I am an organic food nut. Thanks for the recipe Rebecca!

Yep it's wheat free too, although Pamela's products brand are still my fav...they have choco brownies which you can make without fat-and if I remember correctly there is only one gram of fat in the mix!! I am an organic food nut as well my husband could kill me with all the miney I spend on groceries lol That is strange about the spelt because if I am not mistaken is that a type of wheat species?? I'm gonna give oatmeal and buckwheat another try....are you ok with those?
