Nope - but I'm baking cookies all day on Saturday and will add that to my list! Although most of the cookies I'm baking will be non-IBS friendly as I'm giving them to co-workers and friends for Christmas, but I do want to try a couple IBS friendly ones.

They're on my list of cookies to make tomorrow! My mom took the day off, and the only thing we have planned is to bake cookies all day long! Most of these won't be IBS friendly either. I'll be using soy milk and safe margarine, but I looked over our traditional Christmas cookie recipes and was very saddened to see how much fat is in every single one! I'm going to try with all my might to eat only one or two a day, but there's no way I'm going to miss out on the cookies we only make once a year completely. Other than a few cookies I'm being very good, though! Am I the only one giving in to the temptation of cookies this holiday season?

I'm sure you're not! One of the rules of Dr. Phil's diet (okay, so it's not an IBS diet, I know) is number two: "Don't deny yourself." I think he's right on. When I have my soy egg nog, I add a tablespoon (or two) of Jack Daniels. That's my treat. It doesn't bother my tummy. HOWEVER, if I had a whole glass of Jack, I'd blow up. Would one cookie a day hurt you if you had maybe a little slice of french bread beforehand? You want to enjoy the holiday -- without suffering for it -- and you know what your limitations are I'm sure. Bev.

I'm making my cookies, spiced pecans, and chocolate covered pretzels the normal way - as in the non-IBS safe way. I give them to my coworkers, family, and friends, but I do have to taste test to make sure they're okay to give away, right?

They reminded me of the ones my mom makes with sour cream. They are not real sweet but they are good. I didn't like them with the cinnimon and sugar on them. They were too dry. I didn't try the frosting. I like them plain. I don't know why.
