Hi all,
So I'm going over a friend's house for a Superbowl party this Sunday and I want to bring something that I can eat and will be appetizing for the rest of the people there. I would like it to have some sort of protein value because I know the other food there is stuff I can't touch (chicken wings, clam chowder, cheesy nachoes, etc.). Does anyone have any good recipes for this type of get together? I should mention that I can't do tomato sauce or onions or anything really acidic because of my acid reflux. Thanks!

There are three different recipes here for Devilled Eggs that sound pretty good! And if no one else likes them, you can always take them home again and eat them yourself.

make some hummus to bring.. very easy see recipe board. And then pick up some pita chips. I love hummus plus its filling and a protein.

personally I am a big fan of mild (natural) tostitos brand salsa.. where you get your chips at..
But when I have time I make mine with Muir organics chopped tomatoes, finely chopped onions, cilantro and a little water in the food processor. I think it all pureed makes it taste better. I also am a big fan of Muir brand fire roasted tomatoes. very tasty..
you can add some melted cheddar rice cheese or tofutti sourcream and cream cheese to make it more a creamy dip.
