I use water instead of oj was that wrong?

Hi i just made some blueberry muffins from a recipe i found and they tasted blah! they recipe called for 1/4 cup of oj and i can't handle oj so i added water is this wrong? Should I of used soemthing else? thanks

Yes, that won't do. Maybe soy milk buttermilk (with a little vinegar) would work better. Water is never used in baking like that. Or I would use a different recipe. there are so many to choose from.
