Hi,
I'm new to the board, new to the diet, but definitely not new to IBS. Both my young daughter follow a gluten free diet, and now the IBS diet. Does anyone have a gluten free cookie recipe for Christmas cookies??

I haven't tried them yet, but Cherrybrook Kitchen makes cake and cookie mixes, and most are available in gluten-free versions. You should be able to find them in the HFS or possibly in the HF aisle of some regular grocery stores.

I've been gluten-free for 8 years. I am also new to the IBS diet, about a month. So far, I have not had much luck with baking. All of my regular GF recipes have too much fat or eggs to be safe for the IBS diet. Everything I've tried has come out gummy or so hard they're inedible. I'll be watching this thread to see what kind of responses you get.

Kamikat, I found and adapted a recipe for sugar cookies...but my daughter and I also have the misfortune of being allergic to eggs. I made the cookies without eggs, and people raved about the taste...even relatives that are not GF. The cookies did not hold their shape, but they tasted good. Let me know if you want the recipe! Bev

Some people sub applesauce for eggs. Might work for your recipe.
