What type of IBS does your teen have? What are the symptoms? IBS-D = diarrhea, IBS-C = Constipation, IBS-A = alternating between the two. The more we know, the more we can help.

hi you could try posting in the 'eating for ibs' board just above this one- it seems to get more traffic from my experienc:) I'm really sorry your son/daughter has to go through this cos it sucks at any age but teens are sooooo hard anyway. I'm just turned 20 and was diagnosed when I was 16. you could suggest that they come on here too, there are a few teens here. I found it an amazing help just to know that there are other young people out there going through the same thing, ask any questions s/he has cos there are so many wonderful people on here with experience of what works etc Hope all gets better soon!
