Can someone give me or point me to a recipe for making homemade cream of rice?

Probably the simplest thing to do would be to take cooked rice, puree the dickens out of it in a blender or food processor with a little water or soy/rice milk, and then reheat and flavor as desired. Prepared commercial cream of rice is basically mashed rice.

I also found this when I did a Google search, which may or may not be helpful, depending on what health-food resources you have in your area.

Thank you for the suggestion. I came across that website too. I don't know Idli Rawa rice

I was wondering if perhaps the best way to do it might be to parboil the rice and then grind it. Maybe this way I could make a larger amount and store it in this form in the fridge. For breakfast I could boil the amount I need. I guess I could do the experiment but I wondered if anyone else had already solved the problem.
