Usually the ice cold water and minimum mixing is due to the butter content in pastry..but I don't know. I'll give both a try and make two, then post my results tomorrow.

Well..I made my pie with a grahm crust and it looks lucious! I've been dying to try it..but my gut has been in a funk for the last few days. I'll have to abstain until the festivities tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Mine turned out great. How about yours? Everyone loved it. I have to make another pumpkin pie for my parent's. We do our Thanksgiving with them the next day. Two days of Thanksgiving.
