Hi everyone,
Lately I have really had a craving for popcorn. I see in some of the previous recipe posts that there is a hull-less (probably spelt wrong) popcorn. I live in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, and I was wondering if any Canadians out there can tell me where I can find this product. Popcorn use to be one of my favorite snacks, but since IBS if I eat it I am litterally in agony for weeks. Thanks very much.

I've seen it at my local Health Food Store--it's rather cheap as well as organic which is a bonus. Try a calling a couple Health Food/Natural Food Stores near you. Another place you might try is a Bulk Foods Store--they're full of all kinds of neat finds & savings.
Ironically, I just bought an air popcorn maker for when I get daring and the craving arises. Did you know that most low fat/fat free Microwave popcorns contain milk? Ugh...no wonder I can't make it to the toilet fast enough, lol.
Popcorn is pretty high IF, so be sure to have a solid SF base before daring to indulge. I too have heard that hull-less popcorn is more gentle on the system, or at least the teeth. Maybe it's something about summer that is making me crave corn like crazy.
Kate, IBS-D.

Do a search on Black Jewel popcorn. I have found it at Meijer's here in the states. It is a hulless popcorn but if I remember right you can order from there website. I do pretty ok with it as long as I am stable. They come on individual microwave packets.
