I wanted to make a loaf of GF applesauce bread but just found out the only place I could find apple pie spice no longer sells it. Anyone have a good substitute? Penzey's has something called baking spice that contains 2 types of cinamon, anise, allspice, mace, and cardamom. Is it similar to that? I'm sorry; I'm no help. Would just cinamon work maybe? I was thinking I might just go with plain cinnamon. I don't think this is gonna taste too flavorful though.
