Low-Fat Vegan Brownies!

I found this recipe on RecipeZaar.com and it makes the quickest and fudgiest brownies ever. It almost totally fat-free (except for the chocolate chips).
Low-Fat Vegan Brownies
1 1/4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (I only needed 1, though)
1 medium banana (mashed)
1 1/3 cups unsweetened applesauce
It didn't say how long to bake it for or the temperature, but I baked them on 325 degrees for ABOUT 40-50 minutes.

They sound really good. Are you sure they're low fat with 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of chocolate chips in them? That's a cool website, thanks.

I just used a minimum amount of semi-sweet chocolate chips (they're usually dairy-free), because they can contain a lot of fat if used in large amounts. If you're not sure, you can just use a little bit, or not use them at all. They'll probably taste good either way. I just made them today and no one believed me when I said they were low-fat and dairy-free!
But if you put too much banana in them, they can obviously taste more banana-y them chocolatey.

I just printed out the recipe and I definitely want to try them. I should probably try eating a few chocolate chips to see if I have an IBS attack first. Banana-y, chocolate, it doesn't get much better than that. lol
