This is probably a stupid question, but -- ignoring the IF vs SF factor here -- can you just sub brown rice in recipes that call for white rice? It's been a long time since I've had brown rice, but I seem to remember it has more of a unique flavor than white rice and I'm not sure how well that would go over. Or should I look specifically for recipes that call for brown rice? (I only found a few when I searched.)

I think this would be ok in most cases - the only thing I'd watch out for are recipes that specify sticky rice. Brown rice tends to be more dry and separate.
