I posted this recently but no one responded so hopefully you'll have some ideas, b/c you always do and I sure appreciate this about you alot!!
BTW, the Mongolian chicken w/ the red peppers chopped up worked out great and was delicious! You saved me that night 2 wkends ago from a dinner of brown rice!

OK- here are my latest ?s:
Has anyone made the Apple granola [in the Recipe Index]since it was originally posted in August? If yes, any suggestions as to how to make it sweeter w/o using sugar? I'm thinking of adding some stevia to the applesauce. Sound like a good or bad idea?

Also, if I don't grease the pans w/ some PAM, won't the granola stick to them? I don't have teflon cookie sheets so can't do that. Do I need to buy some before I make this granola?

Thanks again Mags

I was wondering how your chicken turned out! I thought of asking, but I was afraid it didn't come out good, and that's why you didn't report back! LOL

I have never made granola or used stevia - I'm a really big help to you tonight, aren't I? LOL

Well, just by guessing though, I would say that adding the stevia to the applesauce sounds like a great way to sweeten it more.

I tried to find the original recipe on www.cooks.com, but I couldn't find it. I did see some others, and only one other recipe said to grease the cookie sheet. All other recipes I saw, including the other 2 granola recipes here on the boards, did not say to grease the pan. Sooo, I think it meant that if you did grease it, your granola would stick together so that's why it is like that. Isn't granola supposed to be kinda crumbly or something?

Well, that's my guesses anyway. Don't forget to let us know how it comes out!

Txs Mags, you're a peach to look up the original recipe. I have 2 cookie sheets so I"m going to grease one and not the other and see what happens. I shall return w/ all the outcome news that's fit to print!
