Hi, again - Here's another potato recipe I haven't made yet.
SPICY STEAK FRIES
Garlic or butter flavor cooking spray 2 lg russet potatoes, each cut lengthwise into 12 wednes (about 1.5 lbs) 2 tsp seasoning blend (such as Paul Prudhomme's Seafood Magic) 1/4 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 400 Spray cooking spray on jelly-roll pan or cookie sheet. Place potato wedges on pan. Sprinkle w/seasoning. Toss gently to coat.
Bake for 40 min or until tender. Sprinkle w/salt. Yield: 4 servings (serving size = 6 wedges)
Enjoy!

Hi, This is a recipe that I copied from Rosie Daley's Book, "In the Kitchen with Rosie" Oprah's Favorite Recipes. My family loves it!
Unfried French Fries
5 large baking potatoes (about 2 3/4 pounds total) Light vegetable oil cooking spray 2 large egg whites 1 tablespoon Cajun Spice
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice each potato lengthwise into 1/4 inch ovals, then slice each oval lengthwise into matchsticks. Coat a baking sheet with 3 sprays of the vegetable oil. Combine the egg whites and Cajun spice in a bowl. Add the matchstick potatoes and mix to coat. Pour the coated potatoes onto the prepared baking sheet and spread them out into a single layer, leaving a little space between. Place the baking sheet on the bottom shelf of the oven. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until the fries are crispy, turning them every 6 to 8 minutes with a spatula so that they are brown evenly. Serve immediately.
-------------------- Do the best you can each day, don't worry about the rest!
