Thanks! I'm going to start doing that now instead of wasting all my bags and containers

Also, re: making bananas ripen faster... I discovered this by accident, but when I used to store my bananas on top of the fridge they'd go black much quicker, probably from the heat from the fridge's motor. (Of course, I wasn't trying to make them go black but they did, faster than I could eat them! Oh well, more banana bread for me!)

Put them next to some other ripe fruit (ie: apples, grapes). For some reason, it makes them ripen faster.
