I am fairly new to the IBS diet (I started it in April 05), and I am wondering if anyone has had problems adding chopped dill pickles to recipes (such as tuna salad). Is it safe?

Thank you. As I had said, I am very new at this and I follow the "what to eat" guidelines to a "T" for fear of messing up. I realized that I was missing pickles, but was scared to try. I love my symptom free life so much that any risk is not worth the consequences. Thanks again!

I'll eat garlic dill spears all summer long to keep up my salt levels! Remember, most vegetables are your friend, especially if they are chopped or cooked.

I eat one of those stacker slices on a soy burger. I do cut it in a couple pieces -- and I chew it well -- but I haven't had any problems with it.
