Pages: 1 Kree's Gingerbread Muffins with Lemon Glaze       #203350 - 08/07/05 02:39 PM Edit Reply Quote hanaleni Reged: 04/27/05 Posts: 53 Just made kree's gingerbread muffin recipe I halved it with a couple errors but it came out delicious: I added the sugar to the dry ingreds I used 1/4 c apple sauce I completely forgot about the water!! I was heavy handed with the canola oil ie I intended to use half a 1/4 c but ended up nearly filling the 1/4 c measure. I baked it in my convection oven at 340 degrees in a 9 x 9 sq metal baking tray for 23 mins. It came out so good that I haven't added the lemon glaze. Thanks for all the comments, it was a fun thread to read as I live close to Williamsburg. Sometimes I skip the lemon glaze too because I like to freeze my muffins. I still haven't tried Kandee's "lazy" pan method. I had only regular molasses so I used less, and man they came out so good!! I did use the lemon glaze, because I love that stuff (I've used it on a million recipes so far). Yum!
