I am a "newbie" to your site, but not a new sufferer. I am so glad to have this place (and I found it the best of all the sites I researched) to go to.
I need to know what Tahini is? I cannot find it in any stores in our "rural" area on Cape Cod. In the city, yes, I'm sure I will find it, but I have no idea what it is? Can I make it?

It is sesame seed paste. It comes in ethnic sections or natural sections in a peanut butter looking jar. It is high in fat! but can be safely used in recipes (do a search for it here in recipes if you like). I think you can process sesame seeds into it but it would probably be more trouble than it is worth.

Have you ever tried to make Tahini, like grinding the seeds in a coffee grinder?
